My art is a combination of studio and digital work. I enjoy both aspects of creating, though studio time is my true happy place and fills me with joy.I’m a self-taught, independent artist, creating whimsical and fun art centered around color and imagination. I take an intuitive approach to art, using a variety of mediums, but acrylic paint is always present. My motto for creating is: if it doesn’t bring me joy, don’t do it. I am drawn to whimsy, with a bit of grunge and strive to create it wherever or on whatever I can. I have a strong held belief that anything can be a canvas. Color is my motivation and inspiration. Bold, soft, light, heavy, even the colors I don’t particularly like have their place on my canvas (or surface of choice). I believe creativity is important for a joy filled life. I encourage you to take time out as often as possible to stretch your creative muscles in whatever way makes you happy. I hope that my art inspires you to pick up a paint brush, a pen, open your computer to a blank page, or even dust off an old typewriter. If you don’t enjoy painting: write, play music, cook, decorate, or make a craft. There are so many ways to express your creativity. I hope you find what makes you happy.
